Blackburn Birthday Celebration

A group of us visited Ewood Park for the Blackburn vs Blues match and for our accompanying junior members this was their first ever Blues away game. The trip was part of a very special birthday surprise for Maypole FC star Sat Seera as he was also the lucky Blues mascot for the day. Being the mascot meant the world to Sat and his family. It wasn’t scripted but we loved how Sat ran across to the away faithful and applauded us all and gave his badge a kiss!

We had a great day, the atmosphere with the away faithful is just something else. It was just a shame we didn’t get the 3 points as it would have been the icing on the cake!
